ADA
The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) requires employers with 15 or more employees to provide qualified individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to benefit from the full range of employment-related opportunities available to others. The ADA prohibits discrimination in recruitment, hiring, training, promotions, pay, social activities, and other privileges of employment. The ADA also restricts questions that can be asked about an individual's disability and requires employers to make certain reasonable accommodations.
Developed in partnership with HRcertification.com, the ADA Training & Certification Program contains over eight hours of basic and advanced content, numerous tips, examples, and procedural recommendations, and the opportunity for individuals to earn a "Certified Administrator" designation!
This self-paced Program is available from any browser, and includes a special "Bookmark" feature so you can learn at your own pace. All content is accessible for one full year from date of purchase, and includes automatic updating of any required regulatory changes.
This Program is ideal for HR professionals with no or little experience administering ADA, Benefit Department Managers or CFOs who seek satisfaction knowing that their adminstrators are properly trained and up to date on ADA issues, and individuals looking to add value to their job experience with the Certified ADA Administrator designation.
Program also qualifies for eight hours of PHR and SPHR re-certification credits.
